I wanted to share the coolest geek device that I’ve seen in a long while. It’s a new type of computer input device called Leap Motion (https://www.leapmotion.com/). The easiest way to describe it is “Air-touch” technology. It lets you interact with your computer like a touch-screen, but you don’t have to touch anything but air. Can you say “Hello, Tony Stark!”? And at $80 per device, you don’t have to have Tony’s money to play with them.
We’ve scored 5 of these awesome little devices for our campus and are working on developing educational end-uses that will enhance our student’s learning experiences.
